Assigning Subject Headings
Assigning subject headings and evaluating headings already in a record can be challenging. This webinar will help you meet some of those challenges head-on. We will discuss Library of Congress Subject Headings, the LC Children’s Headings, and Sears Subject Headings, and how catalogers can gain access to these vocabularies. Throughout, attendees will learn tips and tricks for assigning
headings, evaluating headings, and choosing the right vocabulary.
