This webinar will highlight essential genealogy platforms like HeritageQuest, the Historic North Carolina Digital Newspaper Collection, and other digital resources that provide access to state records, military documents, and historical publications.

Special attention will be given to historic newspapers, which offer rich local context and often fill in the gaps left by traditional records. You'll explore how to navigate NC LIVE’s collection of digitized North Carolina newspapers, as well as newspapers preserved and made available through the State Library’s own digital collections and partnerships.
