Collaboration: I love it! I hate it! In-Person

Do you like to collaborate and share ideas? Or maybe you don't but know you need to do it as part of your job. Either way we want to hear from you!

The State Library of NC is participating in a grant-funded project called EXCITE Transformation that teaches iterative design processes for creating library services and programs.  EXCITE Transformation for Libraries is an intensive team-based experiential learning program that will teach collaboration and innovation skills, result in programs and services that respond to community input and demonstrated needs, lead to cultural change at libraries, and sustain project impact through extended training.

Part of this process is bringing together people to gather feedback and to better understand participants needs. At this stage we are simply interested in your thoughts and feelings about collaboration. Why do you like it or why don't you like it? Eventually, your feedback will help us design a program or service that brings librarians together to share ideas and collaborate in a meaningful way.

Interested participants must complete a short survey. This event is limited to 8 people. Light refreshments will be served. Please contact Amanda Johnson, amanda.johnson@ncdcr.gov or 919.807.7421 for more information or questions.
