Cataloging Workshop - Authority Records (Basic) In-Person

Sonia Archer-Capuzzo presents a half-day workshop that provides an introduction to authority records and how you can use them to enhance searching and sorting in your library catalog. The instructor will use a combination of lecture, discussion, demonstration, and hands-on practice to explain authority and authority records and show how they can be linked to bibliographic records. Attendees should bring laptop computers to practice searching for and using authorities.
