This new, full day hands-on workshop is for NC library staff who want to learn about NC LIVE's new resources for 2015-2017.  This session is led by a NC community college librarian/trainer and is focused on resources and search strategies likely to meet the needs of your community college library staff and patrons.  While this session is focused on community college library users, staff from all types of NC libraries are welcome to attend.  This workshop will cover ProQuest Central, ebrary ebooks, Gale Literature Resource Center, Films on Demand, Business resources, and more! 

At the end of the session, participants will: 

• know what new resources are available through NC LIVE
• be able to decide which resources to use for different patron needs and purposes
• feel confident using NC LIVE to meet the needs of library users.

This is a hands-on technology workshop.  Participants are expected to have mastered basic computer and Internet competencies.  Lunch will be provided to all registered participants.

• The workshop will be held in the Learning Resource Center Library (Library) on the Wilmington Campus of Cape Fear Community College, 415 N. 2nd Street, Wilmington. 
• Information about parking on campus and a parking permit will be sent to registered attendees prior to the workshop.
• A campus map and driving directions are available for download; the Learning Resource Center is located in building L on the campus map.
